  This is a large dry lakebed that is fun for offroading and shooting . After a good rain it's where you'll find everyone getting their trucks muddy and having fun !! My favorite spot is the vernal pond that developed after a good rain . I've see all types of birds there , I once saw about 2 dozen pelicans that had stopped there to rest during their migration. Have seen cranes as well. I've spent many a day on the lakebed and I find something new every time I go. Another added bonus is that you can camp there for free for weeks at a time
